Analysis

The first aim with any social media account we work on is to analyse what content works and what is struggling. There was a noticeable drop off in content that was substantially different to 'Try On Hauls' and therefore we focussed on those as much as possible whilst allowing creative freedom. It is important to remember that for whilst views are important, enjoyment is essential.
Short Form Content

We started uploading around 45 short form pieces of content to the channel each month and whilst these averaged 3-10k views each, together that is a substantial total of 200-250k extra views per month.
Whilst YouTube Shorts and long form content have slightly different algorithms, these shorter pieces of content are great for brand recognition.
Consistency

As with every platform, consistency is key. For established creators, one upload per week is often a sweet spot that blends video quality and consistency.
We ensured videos were filmed as regularly as possible and this played a huge factor in the significant increase in views.
